Kelvin Seldon

President/CEO

Kelvin Seldon, a lifelong technology enthusiast, brings over 20 years of Information Technology and cybersecurity expertise to his role as CEO of Advantage Consulting and Solutions LLC. His journey began in the United States Army Signal Corps immediately after graduating high school, where he developed a strong foundation in communication systems and technical operations. Following his military service, Kelvin transitioned to the private sector, excelling as a System Administrator and Network Technician before taking his first role as a Department of Defense (DoD) contractor.

Kelvin’s initial position as a Help Desk Technician provided him with invaluable exposure to the complexities of the defense contracting industry. Two years later, he was assigned Cybersecurity duties, igniting a passion that has defined his career. Over the years, he has held key roles including Risk Management Framework Analyst, Cybersecurity Analyst, and Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) across multiple DoD contracts. In 2022, after over a decade of experience in the defense contracting industry, Kelvin co-founded Advantage Consulting and Solutions LLC with his longtime colleague and friend, Josh Hughes.

Kelvin’s dedication to fostering talent and giving back to the community is evident in his service on advisory committees for Enterprise State Community College, George C. Wallace Community College, and Wake Tech Community College. He holds an Associate Degree in Computer Information Systems from Enterprise State Community College and a Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity from American Public University.

Under Kelvin’s leadership, Advantage Consulting and Solutions has partnered with the Alabama Community College System to launch a groundbreaking Cybersecurity Fellowship Program. This initiative equips community college students with industry-leading cybersecurity training, hands-on experience through a Cyber Range, and real-world scenarios to prepare them for seamless transitions into the workforce. Students in the program gain valuable onsite experience with local employers, bridging the gap between education and employment.
